Chukshu Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of Chukshu and any optional Premium subscription provided by Maavu Technologies Inc.

Acceptance and eligibility
By downloading or using Chukshu, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Chukshu Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be legally able to enter into these terms and comply with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions that apply to your Apple Account.
The app
Chukshu helps you set and follow personal screen-break routines. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult a qualified health professional about any health concern, including persistent eye discomfort or vision changes.
You are responsible for deciding when and how to use reminders, notifications, haptics, and any recommendations shown by the app. Do not use Chukshu in a way that distracts you from driving, operating machinery, or another activity that requires your full attention.
Premium subscriptions and free trials
Chukshu may offer Premium through auto-renewing subscriptions, including options with a free trial and lower-priced options without a trial. The available plans, prices, billing periods, and trial terms are shown in the Apple purchase sheet before you confirm a purchase.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm a purchase. A trial converts to the applicable paid subscription unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the trial or current subscription period ends. Apple manages billing, renewal, cancellation, refunds where available, and eligibility for promotional offers or trials.
You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting Chukshu does not cancel a subscription. You can use the app’s Restore Purchases action to restore an eligible Premium entitlement.
License and acceptable use
Subject to these terms, Maavu grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Chukshu on Apple devices you own or control, solely for personal use and in accordance with Apple’s applicable usage rules.
- Do not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from Chukshu except where applicable law permits it.
- Do not interfere with the app, Apple purchase systems, or the services that support them.
- Do not use Chukshu unlawfully or in a way that infringes another person’s rights.
Availability and changes
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of Chukshu, including Premium features, when reasonably necessary for product, security, legal, or operational reasons. We will not intentionally remove paid access in a way that conflicts with Apple’s applicable requirements.
Some features depend on your device, operating system, permissions, notification settings, an Apple Watch connection, Apple services, or third-party providers. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of those dependencies.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chukshu is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that reminders will always be delivered at a particular time or that the app will meet every user’s needs.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maavu will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of Chukshu. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Termination, governing law, and contact
You may stop using Chukshu at any time. We may suspend or end access where reasonably necessary to protect the app, users, or our rights, or where you materially breach these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Ontario will have jurisdiction where legally permitted.
