Chukshu Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Maavu Technologies Inc. handles information when you use Chukshu, an Apple-platform app for building screen-break routines.

Effective date

Effective August 12, 2026

Who we are

Chukshu is provided by Maavu Technologies Inc. ("Maavu," "we," "us," or "our"). For privacy questions or deletion requests, email support@maavu.net.

Information stored on your device

Chukshu is designed to work without an account. The app stores the routine settings you choose on your Apple devices, such as Active Hours, reminder preferences, onboarding choices, recent break history, and haptic preferences.

If you grant Motion & Fitness permission, Chukshu uses motion and step signals on your device to make reminder timing more practical. The app does not upload raw motion or step data to Maavu for this purpose.

If you enable notifications, Chukshu schedules and manages reminder notifications on your device. Chukshu does not operate a push-notification marketing service.

Subscriptions and purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple Account. Maavu does not receive your full payment-card number or Apple Account credentials.

We use RevenueCat to help determine whether the Premium entitlement is active and to support purchase restoration. RevenueCat may process a randomly generated app-install identifier, product and entitlement status, transaction-related information supplied by Apple, and technical information needed to provide the subscription service.

Analytics and crash diagnostics

When enabled in a release, Chukshu uses PostHog for a limited set of product events, such as onboarding progress, guided-demo completion, paywall views, purchase outcomes, and entitlement changes. These events use a randomly generated app-install identifier rather than your name, email address, or advertising identifier.

When enabled in a release, Chukshu uses Sentry for crash and error diagnostics. Diagnostic reports may include technical information such as the app version, device and operating-system details, error context, and the same randomly generated app-install identifier. We configure these services without session replay, automatic screen capture, or automatic element capture.

How we use and share information

We use the information described above to operate the app, provide Premium access, restore purchases, understand whether core flows work, diagnose crashes, respond to support requests, and improve Chukshu.

We share information only with service providers that help us run these functions, including Apple, RevenueCat, PostHog, and Sentry, or where required by law. We do not sell personal information, use Chukshu data for targeted advertising, or use an advertising identifier.

Retention and your choices

You can change or remove device-local Chukshu settings in the app, revoke permissions in Apple system settings, or delete the app to remove its locally stored data from that device. Deleting the app does not cancel an Apple subscription; manage subscriptions through your Apple Account settings.

If you contact support, we retain your message and our response for as long as reasonably needed to handle the request and maintain normal support records. Analytics and diagnostic data are retained according to the configured provider settings and may be deleted or de-identified sooner when no longer needed.

You may ask about, correct, or request deletion of information we control by emailing support@maavu.net. We may need to verify a request and may retain limited information where required by law or to resolve disputes.

Children and changes to this policy

Chukshu is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information to us.

We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. We will post the updated policy here and update the effective date.
